You have only 70 days to file a request for hearing if you disagree with a letter sent by your adjuster. You must use the form that is included, and you must file it with the Hearings Division so that it is received by them within 70 days of the date of the letter. Late appeals are dismissed.

If you lose the first hearing, you have only 30 days to file an appeal to the Appeals Division. You may ask for the free Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers to represent you if you do not have a lawyer.

You have only 30 days to file an appeal, called a petition for judicial review, with the district court from an unfavorable decision of an appeals officer.
